Choosing the right bedsheet size is one of those details that’s easy to overlook until the sheet you ordered doesn’t quite fit. Here’s a simple guide to help you pick correctly the first time.
Twin (70-94 Inches)
Twin size is ideal for single beds — a child’s room, a guest bedroom, or a compact bed in a smaller space. It’s also a popular choice for kids’ bedsheet sets, where a smaller, easier-to-manage sheet makes sense.
King (94-98 Inches)
King is our most popular size, and for good reason — it comfortably fits most standard double and queen-size beds found in Sri Lankan homes. If you’re not sure which size to pick, this is almost always the safe default.
Super King (Up to 115 Inches)
Super King is designed for larger beds, offering extra coverage on all sides so the sheet drapes properly without pulling tight at the corners. If your mattress feels bigger than standard, or you simply prefer more overhang, this is the size to choose.
A Quick Way to Check
Measure your mattress from edge to edge, both length and width, and compare it to the size ranges above. When in doubt, sizing up slightly is usually safer than sizing down — a bedsheet with a little extra overhang still looks neat, while one that’s too small will constantly pull loose.
